Over at Inhabit there are these pillows by Pieces of You made with vintage clothing tags. I have saved some tags that either had a cool graphic or were a cool name. I could not figure our what to do with them but this gives me the idea to use them as patches and top stitch or satin stitch them onto a project.

Great idea! Someone I know made a teething blanket with the tags. Instead of ribbon sticking out, it was clothing tags.
I collected clothing tags for some years and finally sewed them on a piece of linen.
Unfortunately my husband put the whole thing in the washing machine before I could frame it. Well it looked much better before…
