Make a Homer Doughnut
November 6, 2007 |
Dadcando.com is a site dedicated to fathers, especially single fathers and non-resident fathers who have contact with their children. The site includes lots of hands-on practical projects that dads can cook, make and do with their kids (although it’s not necessary to be a father or a male to enjoy the projects on the site). One of the more NON-practical projects in the Make Toys from Junk category is this Homer Simpson-inspired doughnut made from two old plastic shopping bags, some masking tape and glue gun glue. Yum-o. Each project is presented in an easy-to-follow, pleasing-to-the-eye downloadable PDF.

What a great site this project was on…
I’ve been in search of a fairly simple bound book pattern, and there it was. I’ve just forwarded the Dadcando link to my bff, who’s a children’s librarian, always in search of projects. Thanks so much!
