Apartment Therapy Reuses In Unusual Ways

I love to read Apartment Therapy. They provide daily doses of great design for more than just hipster apartments … we’ve found plenty of design advice for our own home, for example. Lately they’ve taken on some great reusable crafty ideas for the home, two of which I loved enough to share here.

First up is this adorabe reuse for canning jars (or even spaghetti jars!). Simply set in a favorite picture and stand these babiesin a row for instant photo display. I’m thinking of repurosing this idea for the tables at my wedding reception coming up in March. I want to slip in two baby photos (one of each of us) back to back, and leave guests to guess which one is whom!

This amazing idea is actually a little less accessible to most of us, but is equally great for decorating. Those stools? They’re made out of springs from a semi truck!
