You are my world card for Mother’s Day

Last Saturday was Earth Day and Mother’s Day is just around the corner. So I thought I’d make a Mother’s Day card with an image of the Earth and the words, “You are my world” Fun hu?

It was easy to do with the Die’sire Circle Center pop up card die and Crafter’s Companion Gemini Die Cutting machine.

I die cut the circle pop up from a pretty piece of green cardstock.

I found an image of the Earth and printed it out twice. Then I used the circle die that came with the set to cut them out.

I cut the word “You” out of green glitter cardstock that came in the Crafter’s Companion Luxury Cardstock package.

I printed out the interior words, “are my world” on light green piece of paper and trimmed it down to a small rectangle. I then backed it with a dark green cardstock from the green pack.

All that was left to do was glue all the pieces together. Now I have a special handmade card for my mom for Mother’s Day. I bet she’s going to like it.
