Who knew you could make a cool coffee table from recycled wine bottles?

December 24, 2022 by Stefanie Girard

Wow! These are so cool! I bet these would be a cool way to make risers for buffet displays. What a great way to use recycled wine bottles and scrap wood. Pop on over to the blog Eat well 101 to see more creative uses for recycled wine bottles like these cool mid mod coffee tables and mini tables. Happy Holidays!

Here are 5 other ways to use recycled wine bottles in your home.

  1. Use recycled wine bottles as vases for fresh flowers. Simply clean and dry the bottles, cut off the tops if desired, and fill them with water. You can use different colored bottles to create a colorful display, or mix and match with different types of flowers for a more eclectic look.
  2. Create a DIY candle holder using recycled wine bottles. To do this, cut the top off the bottle and use a candle wick and wax to create a homemade candle. You can add essential oils or fragrances to the wax to give the candle a pleasant aroma, or leave it unscented for a more subtle effect.
  3. Turn recycled wine bottles into a set of wind chimes. Simply cut the bottles into different sizes, drill small holes in the tops, and thread them onto a length of cord or wire. Hang the chimes in a sunny spot and enjoy the soothing sound of the bottles clinking together in the breeze.
  4. Use recycled wine bottles as planters for herbs or small flowers. Simply fill the bottles with soil and plant your seeds or seedlings. You can hang the bottles in a sunny spot or place them on a windowsill or patio table.
  5. Create a colorful mosaic backsplash or countertop using recycled wine bottles. To do this, you’ll need to cut the bottles into small pieces and then use mosaic techniques to create a pattern or design. This can be a time-consuming project, but the results are sure to be worth it!
