Altering and updating Ikea furniture can be so fun! Especially with recycled pallet wood as Ronja did in this link she sent in to her blog Nur Noch where she shared this tutorial on how to cover the open side with scraps of recycled pallet wood. This really transforms this shelf into a “wow” piece.

These DIY stress balls were created for Halloween with cute little Jack-o-lantern faces but I’m thinking of all the ways to switch them up so that they can be used for all the stressful holidays.
