I’ve avoided having house plants as much for my kitties as for my inability to remember to water plants. And all the plant nannies I’ve seen have been ridiculously overpriced. Now, thanks to this great idea, all I have to do is drink a bottle of wine and pick up a pack of these terra cotta holders (4 for $20 – not a bad deal at all), and my plants aren’t thirsty for days or weeks!
What a great way to recycle those wine bottles! Especially in our area, where our recycling trucks no longer pick up glass.
