Crafting Green World has a great post up, featuring a bunch of different ways to use old sewing pattern tissue paper. My favorites include the coasters pictured above and the flowers.

How to make matchbook style packaging for all sorts of tiny things
I love vintage matchbooks and their graphics, they are such a cool little bit of history. Even the concept of a matchbook is dated as there isn’t smoking in public places. So repurposing the packaging format to hold all sorts of tiny things is such a great idea. Pop on over to the blog Reading My Tea Leaves to see all sorts of things you can package in a matchbook and how to make them.
How can I get directions to make the pattern tissue coasters? I would love to make some. 🙂
I LOVE this idea!! Where do I find the instructions on how to make them? Thanks 🙂
I found the instructions here: http://craftingagreenworld.com/2009/04/15/reuse-sewing-pattern-tissue-paper/
