Apparently I’ve been living under a rock for the past few months … because it was just today that I discovered Make It Mine magazine, the publication dedicated to transforming ordinary objects into extraordinary things. The magazine (which debuted in winter 2007) is filled with step-by-step practical projects, such as embellishing a plain-Jane pair of jeans or altering some ho-hum shoes that have been sitting in the back of your closet. The projects are my cup of tea because no crafting technique is excluded: decoupage, painting, stamping, embroidery and more fill the pages.
