Junk journal page with die cut book page letter

February 12, 2019 by Stefanie Girard

I am in LOVE with junk journals and altered book art. I have been lucky enough to get an advanced set of 6 inch letter alphabet dies and I plan on making a junk journal page with each of them. I plan on die cutting a page out of the dictionary for each letter. If you are thinking that you need a set of 6 inch alphabet letter dies to make art and more with leave a comment in today’s post and I will let you know when they are available! Looking for printable journaling items? Check these out on Etsy.

I lined up the six inch letter “L” on the dictionary page placing the word “LOVE” within the block letter space. I secured the die with a bit of washi tape so it wouldn’t shift around when running it through the die cutter.

The rest of the junk journal page consists of lots of new and recycled elements including:

-a recycled paint swatch in pink shades

–vintage postage stamps

-washi tape

-a quilt fabric scrap

-adorable postage stickers

-the outline shape of a die cut postage stamp and letter “S”

-rubber stamped boxing kitties

-fabric measuring tape ribbon

Leave a comment if you want to know when you can get 6″ letter dies to make your altered books, art, fabric crafts, party banners and more!
