I post quite a few flower tutorials here, all I can say is I love making recycled this and that flowers. This one is totally new! At least it is to me so I was so happy Carla of the blog The Scientific Seamstress sent in her great tutorial for making fabric and cd flowers. I think these rosettes would make great present toppers that then can be used as a pin.

I love vintage matchbooks and their graphics, they are such a cool little bit of history. Even the concept of a matchbook is dated as there isn’t smoking in public places.
