How to make a heart shaped pom pom

This is my first heart for the Heart A Day Craft Challenge. It was easy to make. All you need are pretty colored large pom poms and some scissors.

All you need to do is trim the pom pom down a bit at a time and shape it into a heart. I started by making the top “V” in the center and then trimming the bottom into a point. I added a dab of hot glue in the bottom fluff of the pom pom to secure the wooden skewer.
