How to make a button wreath Christmas ornament

December 1, by Stefanie Girard. 2 Comments

We all have a stash of buttons, especially those of us who cut them off clothing before cutting it up to use as rags (totally saves on buying paper towels) like our grandparents did. Why not whip up a few ornaments perfect for decorating this Christmas in whatever color combo is your theme this year. See the super easy tutorial Jenni posted at her blog Vintage Umbrella on how to make a button wreath ornament.

Modern patterned recycled cardboard and TP tube sculptures

I have posted other recycled cardboard sculpture crafts but today’s really caught my eye for two reasons. The first is the fun way simple patterns created on the surfaces really made this look modern and fun. The second was using a tp tube as the base. The combo of the ovals and the tp tube just went together nicely. Pop on over to the blog Artful Parent to see more about how to make painted patterned recycled cardboard and TP tube sculptures.
