Creative upcycle and downcycle ideas
As recycled crafters we tend to save things that are normally thrown out but if you are like me you can’t save everything. A New Year’s goal could be to reduce the recycling that enters your world to avoid this problem. Over at the blog Zero Waste Nerd there is a great list of 30 ways to reduce waste. I love vintage matchbooks and their graphics, they are such a cool little bit of history. Even the concept of a matchbook is dated as there isn’t smoking in public places. So repurposing the packaging format to hold all sorts of tiny things is such a great idea.
