Cloth grocery and tote bags get jazzed up

June 22, by Stefanie Girard. 1 Comment

img_5186_edited-1 Over at Karin’s blog, Artful Crafts she has a great tutorial on how to jazz up those rather blah cloth grocery bags. This was particularly interesting to me because I go to a ton of trade shows and end up with lots of logo filled tote bags that I sometimes don’t really want to be advertising for. This is a great solution to remaking them into “designer” or at least fun up-cycled totes. I think I will do one with some old vintage fabric or maybe an old shirt with an image on it that I do like!

Thanks for posting! I just found some great pea-pod and strawberry prints in the fat-quarter section of my local fabric store, so I’ll be making more of these beauties.
