CD Jewel Case Birdhouse

March 20, by Alissa. 2 Comments

cd_birdhouse.jpgIf you’re one of the lucky ones who actually has CD jewel cases to spare, you might seek some creative advice from Friend of Craftster foldingj, who created this modern-looking bird abode from colored cases and a hot glue gun. As Craftster commenters suggest, this would make a fine mini greenhouse as well, especially if your backyard birds don’t take to their new home.

Check out these DIY Bird House kits we found on Amazon, perfect for gift giving.

Beautiful, wonderful…but use it for a greenhouse, it might be toxic to birds, but most likely just too hot, if you do use it for birds, please put it in the shade…don’t be surprised if squirrels chew it up! it’s wonderful though.
