Tin Can Reuse

September 30, 2008 |

Looking for an inexpensive (and surprisingly crafty) way to redo your bathroom drawers? Use tin cans! Simply wash them out after use, sand down the edges if they’re rough, and drop them into your drawers. They can hold everything from q-tips to cotton swabs to hair bands!

The crafty portion? Decorate the insides and outsides of the cans with your favorite paints or papers. This will pretty them up and make each one unique!

I tried this but usually after washing them and cleaning them out they usually rust.

Is there a way that I could overcome that?
