Testors Spray Chalk paint party and photo shoot fun

April 19, 2017 by Stefanie Girard

Are you looking for a fun creative party activity? Why not host a wing painting party with Testors Spray Chalk paint and then get dressed up in cute outfits for a fun photo shoot.

I gathered up some of my favorite kiddos, moms and even a 4 legged friend for a crafty afternoon of temporary spray chalk wing painting and photo fun. If your kiddos are under 13 like ours be sure to have parents along for the fun.

I can’t tell you how much fun they had. They didn’t want to stop!

All you need is some Testors Spray Chalk Paint (for all the painting you see here 2 packages were used)

and a big blank wall. They recommend the spray chalk paint is best for flat/non porous surfaces.

The spray goes on like chalk and it fades to white in about 7 days and washes away with rain. Since we used it on a vertical surface it faded in our SoCal sun in a few days as this wall gets direct sun light in the afternoon and the remaining chalk hosed off easily.

These kids really got creative in a big way. That’s what’s great about working outdoors on surfaces that are big.

Both boys and girls love to spray chalk!

After all the painting was done a quick wardrobe change happened into a variety of tutus and a bit of face painting and the posing began!

The spray chalk will blend as well. You can see how the pink and yellow turned orange in parts of the angel wings. The kids really got a kick out that effect.

He’s such a little ham!

They had so much fun posing in front of all the different angel, dragonfly and butterfly wings.

The fun wasn’t limited to the little ones- even Mom got into the photo fun!

For more inspiration on all the fun things you can do with Testors Spray Chalk pop on over to Spray Chalk Fun or watch this fun video. Then run out to your local Target, Wal-Mart, Menards, Michael’s or Home Depot for some Spray Chalk. See what other people are creating and share your fun with the hashtag #spraychalkfun

Had to get the pupster in a shot!

These DIY soda bottle cloches are such a smart (and budget-friendly) way to protect tender seedlings from frost, pests, or heavy rain. They’re also a great little upcycle project—so if you’ve got a few 2-liter bottles lying around, you’re halfway there.

The clear plastic traps warmth and moisture, giving your young plants a head start in the unpredictable early growing season. And bonus: they’re reusable year after year.
