Scrap butterflies make my heart soar!

January 21, 2024 by Stefanie Girard

These  scrap butterflies were featured at the blog Heart Handmade and they are so beautiful and look like they could be made with all sorts of materials. I was looking at a few other scrap fabric butterflies and I saw one that used a clothes peg as the body. It was painted gold and looked pretty cool. I think I’m going to try making some wings using a base piece of fabric and just top stitching scraps on in a mirror pattern. I’ll be sure to post what I come up with! But before I do be sure to check out some clever DIY’s at the blog Heart Handmade.
