One of the items we’ve registered for (I’m getting married in less than a week!) is a few large mirrors. Our home is somewhat small, with windows placed in strange places (it’s over 100 years old), and so we don’t get a ton of natural light. This makes it hard to take pictures of my knitting, and also makes the house really dark most of the time. So I want mirrors everywhere – but they’re pretty stinkin’ expensive!
This tutorial from Craftynest may just help me solve this problem a bit, by teaching me how to take a salvaged window frame and turn it into a large mirror. While in the tutorial, the author had the mirrors made to fit the sections, I’m thinking I can pick up some cheapie strip mirrors (from Target and the like) and put them on the back of a frame in sections, hiding the breaks in mirrors.
What do you think?

Hi
I am really interested in the window mirror advertised on March 24th. Would like to know where to obtain it. Thanks Wendy
