I’m betting some of you have the motherload of cards hanging all about your house at this point, and with school about to be out for holiday break, you’re about to have kids hanging all over the house as well! Why not have a family craft day and make some of these ornaments? Thanks to Cathie Filian, the instructions for these bad boys are available for free, and I’m betting even the littlest of hands can get in on (at least) the glue stick action!

Turn Your Old Jeans into a Stylish Coloring Pencil Tote – You Won’t Believe How Easy It Is!
Okay, fellow crafters and coloring fanatics, I have to tell you about a little upcycling gem I stumbled across—and yes, it involves your trusty old jeans and your ever-growing collection of coloring pencils.
If you’re anything like me, adult coloring isn’t just a hobby—it’s a relaxing, borderline therapeutic ritual. But storing (and hauling around) your colored pencils? That’s always been the messy part of the fun. Enter this absolute genius DIY: the Adult Coloring Pencil Tote made from recycled denim. Seriously, it’s one of those “why didn’t I think of that?!” moments.
Let me walk you through why I love this project—and why I think every coloring book enthusiast should make one.
Very cute idea!
These are great, I have done this forever and for that very reason…tons of greeting cards, Christmas cards, etc. and the need to recycle! It is also great to keep those memorable cards you just cannot discard! (no pun intended)
