Every now and then, a recycled crafter shares something with me that’s completely new to me—and I love that. When someone sent over a project inspired by “Pakistani truck art,” I’ll be honest, I had to do a little digging. A quick search later, I found myself down a rabbit hole of vibrant, colorful designs that cover trucks across Pakistan. They’re bold, beautiful, and full of personality—seriously, go look them up if you haven’t seen them before.
That’s exactly where the idea for this upcycled shoe project comes from. The designer behind it was inspired by the stunning detail and color of Pakistani truck art, and she brought that energy right onto a pair of old shoes. The end result? A wearable piece of art with a story—and a second life.
