How to make reusable Swiffer Duster Cloths

June 17, 2010 by Stefanie Girard

Looking for a way to make eco-friendly, reusable Swiffer Duster cloths? There’s a fantastic tutorial over at Sew Much Ado that shows you how to make reusable Swiffer cloths from old flannel shirts. This not only saves money but also helps reduce waste by recycling materials you already have at home. The soft flannel works great for trapping dust, and these cloths can be washed and reused multiple times, making them perfect for any eco-conscious cleaner!

Check out the full tutorial over at Sew Much Ado and start making your reusable Swiffer cloths today!

The tutorial is over at the blog Sew Much Ado

A friend forwarded this to me and I am excited about it. I drive a school bus and keep a swiffer duster there to keep the dash, etc. dusted. Also have one in my pick-up for same reason and gave one to my son for his big 18-wheeler. This is going to be such a money saver. I have to change mine frequently so I have several handles. Thank you so much.

A Swoon for a Spoon: My Thoughts on Sadie Seasongoods’ Cameo Pendants

Okay, so let me just say, I’m obsessed with these spoon cameo pendants from Sadie Seasongoods! If you’re into unique jewelry that has a vintage vibe, but with a modern twist, then you have to check these out. Seriously, I’ve been wearing mine non-stop, and every time I do, someone asks where I got it from. It’s definitely become one of those signature pieces for me.

If you’re wondering what exactly a spoon cameo pendant is, let me explain. Sadie Seasongoods takes actual spoons and transforms them into these beautiful pendants. Yes, you read that right—spoons! They’re upcycled, which is such a cool idea, and the designs feature intricate cameos. The mix of the shiny metal and the detailed artwork gives it such a timeless, charming look. Plus, each one feels totally one-of-a-kind.

I don’t know about you, but I love accessories that can make a statement. These spoons have this vintage charm to them—think retro with a little bit of modern edge. The cameos on the spoons range from cute florals to more abstract patterns. Each pendant feels like a piece of art, and you can tell a lot of care went into crafting them. You can see the full tutorial here.
