Creative upcycle and downcycle ideas
I scored these fun candy shaped containers that I didn’t know what exactly I was going to do with them but as it turns out they are the perfect container to fill with a variety of Christmas colored buttons from 28 Lilac Lane by Buttons Galore and More. I then displayed them on this votive candle holder shaped like a Christmas tree. I bet these will be fun to have on hand to give out as little gifts for my crafty friends.
I love vintage matchbooks and their graphics, they are such a cool little bit of history. Even the concept of a matchbook is dated as there isn’t smoking in public places. So repurposing the packaging format to hold all sorts of tiny things is such a great idea.
