Book Review – Eco-Christmas Craft Book, The: 30 stylish festive projects that wont hurt the planet

October 1, 2023 by Shellie Wilson

I have yet to dive into the world of eco-friendly Christmas crafting but I must say, the Eco-Christmas Craft Book has me itching to start. With 30 stylish and festive projects, I can create beautiful decorations while doing my part to protect the planet. The best part? All the materials used in the book can be found easily and inexpensively, such as cardboard, newspaper, wine bottle corks, twigs, and pine cones.

The book includes everything you need to make your own unique, beautiful Christmas décor including tree decorations, advent items, Christmas cards, table decorations, wreaths, and more. The possibilities are endless and I love the idea of being able to choose my own color scheme each year and make new decorations using the same recyclable materials.

The author provides clear, easy-to-follow instructions and each project is accompanied by inspiring photos of the finished product. The book even provides ideas for other projects to create, making it a treasure trove of eco-friendly Christmas inspiration.

I haven’t made anything from the book yet, but I can’t wait to start. It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit and do my part for the planet at the same time. So if you’re looking for a way to make beautiful, stylish decorations for the holidays while also being eco-friendly, this book is a must-have!

Rustic Town Canvas Leather Tote Bag

I absolutely love this bag! I was looking for something that felt a bit more unique than your average tote—and this one totally delivers. The mix of canvas and leather gives it a rustic, well-traveled vibe that I’m obsessed with. It looks like something you’d pick up in a boutique or a vintage market, but it’s surprisingly affordable.

The quality really impressed me—thick material, strong stitching, and the leather straps feel like they’ll last forever. I’ve been using it as my everyday carry-all for errands and casual outings, and it fits everything without losing its shape. It even looks better the more I use it.

Also, I appreciate that it has a bit of a story—it feels like a bag that was made with care, not just churned out in a factory. I’ve gotten so many compliments, and people are always surprised it came from Amazon!

If you’re into that rugged, effortless style and want something durable with charm, this tote is 100% worth it. Check it out here on Amazon.
