Wine Cork Placecard Holders

July 24, 2007 |

winecork.jpgThe online shop Bright and Bold, which offers mostly modish home décor accessories and other fun things you didn’t know you needed, offers this set of reusable wine cork placecard holders. Based on the pristine appearance of these resin corks, they haven’t actually touched a staining Merlot, and therefore aren’t recycled, but think how easy it would be to create a set of your own for your next wine and cheese tasting. Cut off a flat edge of the cork so it sits on the tabletop, slice a line for the placecard and – voila – you’ve created your very own holder. Not only could these house the names of guests but also the names of cheese varieties or finger foods you’re serving up.
