I love these homey handmade ornaments from Beautiful Garbage’s shop on Etsy. They’re made from recycled wool, paper and vintage buttons and trim. Best yet, they won’t shatter into pieces when you drop them (unlike those shiny glass balls).

I think every family who hears the familiar CRASH of a falling ornament each year should totally invest in these.
I LOVE this idea.
I have a cat who likes to play with ornaments (what cat doesn’t?), so I especially like the idea!
