Recycle Family Slides into a Modern Lamp Shade

July 15, 2009 by Stefanie Girard

rm12_slidelamp_rc_01 If you know what these are than you probably have them in your family attic somewhere. My parents are currently learning how to use the equipment to convert them into digital images and then the slides will be winging their way to me to craft with and this is so on my to-do list! Steven James designed this cool slide lampshade for ReadyMade and the full directions are posted there.

I love your site ๐Ÿ™‚ Recycled items can be transformed into meaningful and beautiful pieces of furniture. Recycled items reduce the VOCs that are released indoors because the item has already off gassed the majority of chemicals. So these items keep indoor air cleaner and us healthier ๐Ÿ™‚
