MixtGoods — Not Good, but Grand!
July 9, 2007 |
I’m a sucker for clean design and good typography, so when I saw an advertisement on our very own site for MixtGoods, I immediately clicked to their site. And once I was there, I was drawn to every single category of handmade stuff.
MixtGoods specializes in “handmade goods by local artists at fair prices,†which I found to be completely true. Its recycled crafts category contains some high-end, well-crafted items such as this Urban Tire Bag, $65, made of scrap wood, reclaimed waterline hose and old inner-tube truck tires. Who knew such an elegant piece could be constructed from such rudimentary materials?!
