Today I have the pleasure of offering you Craft Gossip readers the chance to get yourself in the running for a Terrarium Fairy Garden Kit thanks to the Horizon Group and a copy of the soon to be published book Miniature Gardens: Design & Create Miniature Fairy Gardens, Dish Gardens, Terrariums and More-Indoors and Out. Leave a comment in today’s post letting us know your favorite plant by November 13, 2013 and you will be in the running. Open to U.S. residents only please.
These Terrarium Fairy Garden Kit activity kits are only offered at Walmart for six weeks! They are $19.97 and will be located in the garden center. Walmart will also carry a Fairy Tea Garden Kit and a Traditional Fairy Garden Kit.
I had so much fun with this Terrarium Fairy Garden Kit!
I haven’t had a chance to play with plants in a while but this project brought all the fun back!
First I went through my yard and took some clippings of plants that I thought would work.
I also bought a Venus fly trap plant (my favorite as a kid!) and a pretty cactus.
I followed the directions in the kit and and had fun arranging the cute little elements with my clippings and plants! Creatives of any age will have fun creating a mini world!
And then I decided to start making things to add to my terrarium! Yes, that is a tiny trellis made out of sticks. For the tutorial on how to make a mini stick trellis for your terrarium pop on over to Craftside.
