From Soda Crate to Frame
February 26, 2008 |
Carol A. Tanzi, the Goddess of Garbage, offers this homespun project for your next family photo display: Find an old soda bottle wooden crate (you can usually spot loads of them at flea markets and better yard sales), glue photos onto wooden squares that fit into the bottle slots, then arrange the blocks in the slots as desired. If I were to make my own, I might leave out the step that instructs you to glue the blocks into the crate — who knows when you might want to change out the photos in the future.
