Crushed Can Art

October 28, 2007 |

crushed_can_art.jpgArtist Charles Kaufman’s work can be found on the pages of underground comic books and on gallery walls around the world. His colorful cartoonish paintings can also be found on used aluminum soda and beer cans.

“Using acrylic paints I create a painting on one side of the crushed can,” he writes. “My Crushed Can artwork is then mounted in a frame, ready to hang. Not only is each artwork an original, but the crushing of the can creates a one-of-a-kind canvas.”

Visit his Crushed Can Art blog to view his wonderful whimsical work. (Thanks to Rhonda for sending this link my way!)
